Forest Bathing in the Saja Nansa Natural Park and the Liébana and Valdeolea Valleys

Do you want to reduce your stress and anxiety levels? Here's the best way! Through this sensory experience that connects us to nature and produces health benefits.

Description

In Forest Bathing, we take a mindful walk, not a typical hiking trail. With this technique originating from Japan, we seek to enjoy the moment, engage in meditative activities, and fully connect with nature, unhurriedly, paying special attention to the senses in a beautiful forest where we breathe, walk, touch, listen, and relax.
These mindful walks reduce the brain's cognitive and executive functions and focus on the part of the brain related to pleasure, empathy, or emotions.
Our Forest Baths are guided by a trained therapist, and we help you increase your sense of tranquility, reduce anxiety and stress levels, and regain emotional stability.
After our Forest Bathing sessions, you'll even notice that your brain becomes more active and creative, your attention span and empathy will grow, and you'll relax and release tension.
In Japan, many companies already include these forest bathing practices among their executives or are beginning to give their employees time to practice what is now considered "traditional medicine" for preventative purposes.
And for even more relaxation, stay at the La Curva de María rural house.
