Green Spain has plenty of blue to it. Bathed by the waters of the Cantabrian Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, totalling almost 2,500 km of coastline, beaches, coves, cliffs and mountains that plunge down to the waves. A tradition that can be seen in villages and cities that have been suffused with surfing culture for half a century now. The Basque Country, Cantabria, Asturias and Galicia feature fifty or more spots to practise, learn or watch surfing at its finest. Hundreds of kilometres of coast with every type of beach (urban, wild, on the open sea or estuaries\u2026), with swell all year round, waves of outstanding quality, and a huge variety of sizes and breaks.<\/p>\n

Green Spain complements the natural qualities of its coastline and excellent waves with a first-class tourist offering: surfing schools to learn or improve your technique; specialist accommodation; board and equipment manufacturers; some of the finest cuisine in Europe.
